Project
Customer
The Why Optional — what makes this customer want lighting?
- Follow-up messages that reference their reason close 2–3× better than generic ones.
- It forces you to actually listen on the walkthrough — not just quote parts.
- When Spec 2 sends the drip, we drop this line right into the SMS.
Project description Optional — what the customer sees on the quote.
Line items Optional — add extras like service terms, spare parts, or add-ons the customer should see.
Temperature How likely is this customer to close?
Drives SMS follow-up cadence + tone. You can change this any time before the quote closes.

Target margin
Required. Set your target GM% and we back-solve the pre-travel price. If costs change you must re-enter a target to reprice — GM is not silently recomputed.
Financing and discounts
Pricing review
All totals are marked-up (what the customer pays), except the material cost line. Review before you save.
These defaults drive every calculation. Edit once per year (or when your economics change) — they're saved to your company profile.
Customer fields
Choose which fields appear on the quote form, and whether they're required to save.
Project
Gross margin is under 30% — this project is priced to lose money. No warranty, service plan, or payment terms can rescue it. Rework the price (or walk away) before you send.
My quotes
Sorted by score — chase the top of this list. Update status when a quote closes so we can track your close rate.
Version history
Every save creates a version. Restore one to bring the quote back to that exact state. Restoring creates a new version — the old ones are never deleted.
Receive Deposit
Signed quotes waiting on a deposit. Mark paid, waive, or charge card when Payments is enabled.
Financing
Quotes where the customer clicked Apply for Financing. Move them through the sub-flow — submit, approve, deny. Denied quotes drop back to Sent with a persistent flag.
Schedule Project
Deposit is in — lock in an install date and time window.
History
One row per project. When you improve terms between quote and close, the delta shows how much you moved the score.
| Project | Status | Quote | Close | Delta | Date |
|---|
Customer errors
System failures your customers hit on the public quote and signing pages. Every row is a moment SellWorthy fell short in front of a real person — use it to catch patterns and reach out before they drop.
Coach error report
System-level failures with no company scope — the catch-all so we can see errors happening even when there's no dealer to attach them to. Falls include Spec 33 resolver failures, missing company links on quotes, and any other infrastructure-layer alarm that doesn't fit CustomerErrors.
Follow-ups
Your call list for sent quotes that still need a nudge. The cadence is driven by the temperature you set on each quote — hot leads get more frequent touches, cold ones get sparse ones. Click a column header to change the sort order.
Loss reasons
Where deals are going. Percent of your Lost quotes by reason. Use the window controls to zoom in on recent activity.
Close rate by presentation style
Which quote layout actually closes deals. Every quote is bucketed by the presentation you picked in Step 8 — Simple, Gallery, Material + Labor, or Itemized — and scored against three definitions of close rate so you can see how each style performs across strict, standard, and raw funnel math.
Must be https and include a full hostname.
Formula admin
Edit the raw-add-up RQS defaults every company inherits. Publishing bumps the version and takes effect immediately for every dealer.
Version history
Quote templates
SellWorthy default project-description templates every dealer inherits. Dealers can duplicate any of these into their own private library, or hide one from their picker — they can't edit these directly.
Revenue band tables
Lookup tables that convert the quote’s pretravel-after-discount price into a line-item price. Warranty templates and any line item with pricing mode “Revenue band table” resolve their qty and unit price from the linked table on the wizard. Dealers can duplicate any default into their own private library.
Company defaults
Per-vertical settings every company inherits. Pick a vertical, edit the group, and publish a new version. Each publish is versioned and takes effect on the next quote.

Roofline catalog
Products every company inherits. Add a product, enter cost, price, and install hours per foot for each story tier (and commercial). Retire products you no longer sell.
How these numbers are used in Mode B roofline quotes
Cost per foot — your material-only cost per linear foot (track, lights, connectors — no labor). Used as the material line when no material override is entered.
Price per foot — what the customer pays per linear foot. This is the bundled retail (material + labor).
Install hours per foot — how long install takes per linear foot. Multiplied by your labor rate to compute the labor line. Enter this for every story tier you install — if blank, the labor cost drops to $0 and quotes come out too high on margin.
When a material override IS entered (Step 2 of the quote), the entered amount replaces the material line; labor still comes from install-hours × rate.
Retire — soft-delete only. Historical quotes still reference the row.

Insurance certificate — coach default
This is the default paragraph shown on the customer-facing quote when a company toggles their insurance card on. Each company can override it, but this is what they start with. The certificate PDF itself is uploaded per company — there’s no coach-default PDF.

SellWorthy defaults plus your own overrides. Duplicate a default to make it yours — then edit cost, price, and install hours per foot for the story tiers you install.

Quote templates
Every SellWorthy default appears here. Duplicate any of them into your own override library, hide the ones you don’t want in your picker, and edit anything you own.
Some states and localities handle prepaid warranties and service-plan products differently than others — escrow requirements, insurance-code overlap, and naming restrictions all vary. Check with an attorney who is well versed in your local laws to determine which plan structures and verbiage work in your area of service before enabling any warranty product on your quotes.
Revenue band tables
Every SellWorthy default band table appears here. Duplicate any of them into your own override, then edit the bands. Warranty templates set to Revenue band pricing look up qty and unit price from these tables when the wizard hits the warranty step.
Loss reasons
Customers pick from this list when they decline a quote. Coach defaults are shown first — hide any that don’t apply to your business, then add your own.

Follow-up cadences
Controls how many follow-up touches get scheduled per quote and how many days apart, split by lead temperature. Unmodified temperatures inherit the platform default — so if we tune the defaults later, you get the update automatically. Touches surface on the Follow-ups report; nothing is sent automatically.

Certificate of insurance
When enabled, an “Insurance” card appears below the pricing on every customer quote, along with a button to download your certificate PDF. Uses the coach default paragraph unless you override it below.
